Support programme for school children

Children are often engaged in fieldwork or herding cows instead of going to school.
One reason for this: Parents often do not have the necessary money to finance their children's education.

Our project addresses this very issue – it aims to support parents and children and emphasise the importance of education. Because education is not only a right but an investment in a better future.

Education for all – just 1 Euro per semester

With a contribution of only 1 Euro per semester, a child can be enrolled and supported in everyday school life.
The goal is to keep the financial hurdle as low as possible and to reach as many families as possible.

In addition to access to school, we also focus on targeted, practical initiatives to improve daily school life:

• Sports clubs for boys and girls – for community, exercise, and motivation

• School supplies initiative – providing paper, pens, paint, backpacks, and
  solar lamps for safe journeys home and learning at home

• Solar system for the school – for light, electricity, and good learning conditions

• Good drinking water directly in the school – for health and concentration

• Toilet facilities – a dignified learning environment for all

• Programmes for a clean school environment – promoting environmental awareness

• A safe and clean school route – for a protected start to the day
